When we think about any city in the asian continent there are two concepts fighting to win a good spot: what´s modern and what´s traditional. Singapore makes a perfect balance in its architecture to show the best of its roots and its ability to adapt to any current trend.
Walking on the city´s streets you can notice imposing Buddhist temples, very antique and full of richness, sharing the skyline with buildings that bring newer and fresher perspectives, making an amalgam that, far from being taken as a discordant mixture of styles, becomes a visual delight for those who appreciate it.
Though Singapore is a young city, it is still under the influence of the religious traditions of Asia, which sets a milestone in the design of all its civil works, but at the same time doesn´t stop its natural instinct from going towards the future… to the unknown.
This capability of changing is what guarantees that the city always has this captivating freshness.

From the moment that its majestic airport welcomes visitors, Singapore´s vitality is something you can feel. Take for instance that its vanguard attitude does not keep it from having 100% ecological awareness. The famous green wall of Changi airport is literally an “alive” proof of this statement.
Also every single tree in Singapore seems like meticulously placed to make any of us adventurers to just lose our breath before its perfect blend of styles and architectonic trends.
There are few times when we can find this sublime balance, but if this constrast is what we are passionate about, Singapore is never going to let us down.

Cuando pensamos en cualquier ciudad del continente asiático dos conceptos luchan por hallar un equilibrio: lo moderno y lo tradicional.
Singapur logra un balance perfecto en su arquitectura para mostrar lo mejor de sus raíces y su capacidad de adaptarse a las tendencias actuales.
Paseando por las calles de la ciudad pueden verse imponentes templos budistas, centenarios y de gran riqueza arquitectónica, compartiendo el espacio con edificios de perspectivas innovadoras, frescas, constituyendo así una amalgama que, lejos de percibirse como una mezcla disonante de estilos, llega a ser un deleite visual para cualquiera que la aprecie.
Siendo una ciudad tan joven, Singapur sigue estando bajo la influencia de las tradiciones religiosas asiáticas, que marcan un hito en el lineamiento del diseño en todas sus obras civiles, pero al mismo tiempo no limitan su espíritu innato de ir hacia el futuro… hacia lo desconocido.
Esta capacidad de cambiar es lo que garantiza que la ciudad siempre tenga esa frescura cautivadora.

Desde el momento en que su majestuoso aeropuerto recibe a los visitantes puede sentirse la vitalidad de Singapur. Por ejemplo, su decidida actitud de vanguardia y modernismo no evita que tenga una conciencia 100% ecológica. La famosa Pared Verde del Aeropuerto de Changi es literalmente prueba “viva” de esta afirmación.
Cada árbol en Singapur parece colocado meticulosamente en su posición para hacer que cualquier aventurero pierda el aliento ante su perfecta mezcla de estilos y tendencias arquitectónicas.
Pocas veces podemos encontrar este sublime balance, pero si ese contraste es lo que nos apasiona, Singapur no nos dejará decepcionados.
