This Sunday morning for me / Domingo en la mañana

I had a couple of sundays skipping mass.. shame on me. Today I decided to wake up extra early and go to mass and reconnect with God and His word. But it was the Priest´s speech what was specially interesting for me. The Gospel reading highlight for me was: "The slaves of the householder came to him and said,‘Master, did you not sow good seed in your field? Where have the weeds come from? ’He answered, ‘An enemy has done this.’His slaves said to him,‘Do you want us to go and pull them up? ’He replied, ‘No, if you pull up the weedsyou might uproot the wheat along with them. Let them grow together until harvest;".
I really like the Priest´s point of view on this. He focused on how we should be always caring and open to the differences between us. He explained that since we are all God´s children, we are all good seed. We are just different from each other.. and that´s good! I loved how he encouraged us to embrace our individuality, and own our cualities proudly. This is a very good thing to hear. I think while the world keeps walking towards an environment where we all respect eah other´s pros and cons we will definitely live the way it is meant to be: happy, peaceful... awesome.

Tenía un par de semanas faltando a misa... que vergüenza. Hoy dcidí levantarme temprano para ir a misa y reconectarme con Dios y Su palabra. Pero lo que más me pareció interesante fue la homilía. La parte del Evangelio que me llamó la atención fue: "Los trabajadores del sembrador le dijeron, ´Maestro, no sembraste buena semilla en tu campo? De donde vino la cizaña?´El respondió,´Un enemigo ha hecho esto.´Sus trabajadores le dijeron,´Quieres que vayamos y las arranquemos?´ El respondió, ´No, si las arrancan pueden arrancar también el trigo. Déjenlas crecer hasta la cosecha;".
De verdad me gusto el ángulo del sacerdote en esta lectura. Se enfocó en como deberíamos ser compresivos y abiertos a las diferencias que hay entre nosotros. Explicó queya que somos todos Hijos de Dios entonces todos somos buena semilla. Sólo que somos todos diferentes... y eso es algo bueno! Me gusto como nos animaba a adueñarnos de nuestra individualidad, y de nuestras cualidades con orgullo. Fue algo muy bueno en realidad. Yo creo que mientras el mundo siga caminando hacia un ambiente donde todos respetemos nuestros pros y contras definitivamente viviremos de la manera que debe ser: felices, en paz... una vida simplemente asombrosa.
